Golf Clubs Costa del Sol

Alhaurin Golf Club

Designed by Seve Ballesteros, the course's hilly mountain terrain would provide a stiff test for even the great man himself! The wild growing rough is the main danger here, while the strategically placed bunkers and water hazards are reminiscent of American-style courses. With majestic views of mountains to the north and of Africa and the Mediterranean to the south, this is a fine course in a lovely natural setting.

Cabopino Golf Club

Cabopino Golf Club is a scenic 5,170 metres long course and an interesting new addition to Costa del Sol golf. High handicappers will have to use all clubs in their bag and low handicappers will have to take risks if they want good results. The greens are large and in excellent condition. The third hole is an interesting par 4 that drops dramatically from the tee to the hole.

Calanova Golf Club

Designed by D. Julián Garcia-Mayoral (Aymerich Golf Management), Calanova Golf Club opened in May 2006 and is a terrific addition to the ever growing diverse collection of golf courses here on the Costa del Sol. The course was built according to United States Golf Association (USGA) rules and regulations, with regards to the tees, bunkers, drainage and greens.

Desert Springs Golf Club

Desert Springs is serenely located on a “meseta” above the dry Almanzora river valley, which sweeps down to meet the sea along a stretch of 20 kilometres of sandy beaches, the grand Playazo of the Almanzora region. The resort itself is based around Europe’s first and only true desert golf course and beckons all those who desire an outstanding holiday or golfing experience.

Doña Julia Golf Club

Situated in Doña Julia Golf Resort, between Marbella and Sotogrande, this golf course is perfectly integrated in the natural environment of the area and stands out for its magnificent views to the Mediterranean and the African coastline. The course was designed by renowned Málaga architect, Antonio García Garrido, the designer responsible for some of Spain’s top courses.

El Chaparral Golf Club

The variety of their holes, surrounded by the mediterrean autochthonous vegetation, makes The El Chaparral Golf Course an ideal place to play golf. The word spectacular is the best way to discribe playing at El Chaparral, which allows the course to host important and various professional and amateur tournaments.

Estepona Golf Club

The 18 hole course, which is located on the inland side of the main coastal road at Km. 150, just one mile from Estepona town centre, was designed by José Luis López and first opened in 1989. The design uses the natural landscape which is set against the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, and enjoys sea views from most parts of the course. The fairways are wide and the greens large which provides a challenge for players of all levels, but doesn't penalise the average golfer.

La Cala Resort

The Royal Spanish Golf Federation has confirmed that La Cala Resort is the biggest golf complex in Spain. La Cala has three 18-hole championship courses and a top quality 6-hole par 3 course, making it the largest golf resort in Spain. The resort is highly regarded for the quality of the golf courses and sports facilities including the only David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Spain. Hosting the Q-school for the Ladies European tour in November 2005 has proved that La Cala Golf Resort is highly regarded internationally.

La Quinta Golf & Country Club

Located on top of the hills which command the well known Marbella Golf Valley, La Quinta Golf & Country Club is one of the most important golfing centres in Europe and, with no doubt, one of the most charismatic clubs on the Spanish Costa del Sol. Both celebrities and international re-known professional and amateur players from all over the world come often to visit its premises and enjoy all its services.

Los Naranjos Golf Club

Los Naranjos is one of Spains best golf courses. World famous golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. considered it one of his finest European design and it is indeed a true Championship course.

Marbella Club Golf Resort

Designed by Dave Thomas, our very own 18 hole Marbella club Golf Resort and private Riding stables are situated just 20 minutes drive from the hotel in the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Benahavis, where golfers, horse riders and nature lovers can enjoy walks in the hills.

Monte Mayor Golf and Country Club

Since its opening in 1989 Monte Mayor has built up a unique reputation world wide. Designed by José Cancedo and hidden in the hills behind Cancelada, this is a monster course. Nowhere else you will find such a quiet surrounding and an extremely challenging golf course than Monte Mayor.

Santa Clara Golf Club

Located just off the N-340, near the hospital on the eastern side of Marbella, Santa Clara Golf Club is a new 18 hole par 71 course of 5878 metres from the professional tees. The course was designed by Enrique Canales Busquets. It is well manicured.
