Course Review
La Quinta Golf & Country Club was designed by Manuel Piñero, three times World Champion and Winner of the Ryder Cup, together with Antonio Garrido. The course consists of 27 holes in perfect conditions which demand the player’s maximum concentration on play. Its extraordinary beautiful courses offer lovely views of the mountains and the sea, and pose an out of the ordinary challenge even to the best players. Its winding and narrows holes and its combination of wide and narrow fairways, together with its continuous ups and downs give it a special character. Only the best professional players have been able to beat it although not to dominate it: Severiano Ballesteros, José María Olazábal and Manuel Piñero as a plain example. The 27 holes are divided into three 9 hole courses; San Pedro (A), Ronda (B) and Guadaiza (C), that could be combined in different ways. Besides its 27 holes, La Quinta Golf & Country Club also counts with three putting greens and a driving range. Apart from its golf course, La Quinta Golf & Country Club counts with other alternative services for the players and companions such as a Pro-Shop, a Club House and a Golf Academy. The Club House is without a doubt one of the most beautiful club houses at the Costa del Sol, with fabulous views of the golf course and the ocean. Inside you can find the “Arturo” Restaurant and a Game Room with T.V., all in a warm and luxurious setting and equipped with air-conditioned as well as charming fireplaces. The La Quinta Golf Club is located just in front of the 5 star deluxe hotel The Westin La Quinta Golf Resort.
